I pray that God's love will cover and keep you through this time of sorrow. May your family find comfort holding her memories close.

I met Lisa when we were both in Birmingham, Alabama studying pharmacy. I was first taken by her mellow attitude and her slightly self-deprecrating humour. I later learned to value so much about her but, most importantly, her ability to see beyond the surface and into the "meat" of someone. As I shy, awkward displaced Canadian living in the south, she was the tonic I most desperately needed. As are all things in life, I learned to value her more as the years went by. Through the magic of Facebook, we were able to reconnect these last couple of years. In my mind's eye, I still see her riding Lady, dark hair flowing behind her. You will be missed, my friend.
