Your mother, Marcia was a treasure. I had the honor of being her flower girl in your parents wedding. My mother, Gladyce Kurtz always kept in touch with her. Marcia and I had wonderful visit by phone in February. I can hear her warm voice asking about my family. I am grateful for that conversation. My love and prayers to all of you. Your mom was an awesome loving woman. We appreciated the dinner she prepared for us when we first got married in 1966. Her bio reads like a big time TV anchor or statesman, yet was a mother at the same time. Lovely lady with a beautiful smile and heart of gold. There will be peace in the valley where she is. Marcia was a delightful lady and a joy to share meals with at Somerby. She always had a smile and was very concerned about the well-being of those around her and especially those left behind because of the tragedgy of the Malaysian airliner. She is sincerely missed by those of us who came to know her as a friend.
