Rest in Paradise my Dear Friend!
January 5, 2018
To the entire Johnson Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss and tremendously sorry I didn't know about Mrs. Mary's (as I so fondly called her) death until recently! My heart is broken and share in your loss. I love and miss my dear friend with all my heart! Her kindness to me will be forever etched in my heart! Mrs. Mary was like a mother to me with her wise advice and knowledge. We had so much fun together and I'm so grateful to have played a part in making some of her later years happy ones!
Thank you all so very much for accepting me into your family and thanks so very much for your acknowledgement of me! I love and miss you all so very much! May God forever Bless and keep you all in His Loving Care is my Prayer.
With Love and Blessings,
Brenda

Mary Johnson was a landmark figure at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Birmingham, and at Camp McDowell in Winston County. She had a very special ministry to Episcopal youth, and art was one of her primary ways to communicate. Memories of her will continue to touch my heart as long as I live.
