CARR, ROBERT "BOBBY" MORROW, age 81, of Hueytown, AL, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, January 14, 2010. He was a member of The Baptist Church at McAdory and Woodward Golf and Country Club. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Carr graduated from Jones Valley High School, and the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he was named to the "All Century Baseball Team". He went on to play professional baseball with the Cleveland Indians. He was a proud supporter of the University of Alabama Athletic Program. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Beth Carr; his daughters, Susan Harrison, Laura Anderson, Barbara (Doug) Walker and Amy Mink; his grandchildren, Angel, Beth, Hannah, Ryan, Karson, Cassidy and Holden; his great grandson, Trey and his nephew, Bobby Carr of Columbus, GA. Funeral Services will be held at The Baptist Church at McAdory Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bill McCall officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church. The family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to The Baptist Church at McAdory "Building Fund" or the Big Oak Ranch.
