Ruth Ann has been my neighbor and friend since 1979. In fact, we shared the same birthday. She was quite simply the fiercest mother I ever knew, and I always admired her confidence as a parent. She expected excellent behavior from her four, but if any one of them were mistreated, there would be hell to pay! I say this in praise of my friend, who was my mentor and example of what a mother should be!

Aunt RuthAnn' always had a knack for making you feel good, especially if you were a child. How she loved children and all kids loved her!
I still remember Aunt RuthAnn's hugs. She would bend down, smiling and laughing, giving you her full attention. Great stuff for a kid! Aunt RuthAnn called me Punkin' - and I loved it. If you weren't feeling well, she knew how to stroke your face to make you feel better. She instinctively knew how to do these very special things. Her love was constant and never based on approval.
I've been told she may have changed a couple of my diapers and I know she bustled my wedding gown. ❤ I wish we could have lived closer.
Aunt RuthAnn will be missed. Uncle Ernie, Dana, Rocco, Gina and Nicole- you were all lucky to be hers.' May your wonderful memories carry you through.
Love,
Elise

I enjoyed working with RuthAnn at RealtySouth for a number of years. A memory to share.... we were always excited when she went home for lunch and made peanut butter fudge! She was a great cook and a great co-worker.
