TIMOTHY SMITH Obituary

SMITH, , JR. ,TIMOTHY PATRICK TIMMY" Age 22 passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013. He was preceded in death by his uncle Joseph Paul. He is survived by his father Tim Sr., his brother Nicholas Paul, step-sisters Deborah and Rachel Prewett, grandparents Walton and Gene Smith and Gerald and Anna Jernigan. Uncles, Michael (Tammy), David, Dick (Becky), Mark (Linda), and aunts, Alice Mitchell (Ricky), Teresa Ross (Kirk), Beth Ann, Nancy Armstrong (Dennis), Susan (Dan), and many, many cousins. Timmy was born January 7, 1991 with a rare brain disorder and his life expectancy was less than one week. An unlikely teacher with his limited brain function, he taught the lessons of strength, unconditional love, and appreciation of things most people take for granted, to all that knew him his 22 years on this earth. There will be a Funeral Mass Saturday February 9 at 11:00 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Leeds. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Montgomery Children's Specialty Center 2853 Forbes Drive Montgomery, Alabama 36110.
