I just finished writing one.
I hope that it survived!
Many thanks.

Hi All!
I remember Ben, Irene, and their two sons (Glenn and David) who lived in Rochester at about the same time as the Dayton family. I guess that I was a teenager at about the same time as Ben and Irene's two sons whom I also remember.
I recall one Sunday morning in church when Ben came in with an astonished look on his face and said that he was quite shocked to hear about Truman's firing of MacArthur!
Well, that was a common reaction among many of us at the time.
I have often thought about Ben and Irene over the years. My sister Jane (Buhrer) Stevenson has kept me informed about Rochester - related events since she still lives in the area.
I recall hearing about the Daytons leaving the Rochester area; I moved from there in about 1955.
Well, it was informative to hear about the family.
My condolences to all.
Sincerely,
Arno Buhrer
