Moses L. Robinson, 80
HENDERSONVILLE - Moses Luther Robinson, 80, of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. He was born Sept. 26, 1932, in Haywood County, N.C., a son of the late Verlin and Alice Dills Robinson. He was a 1951 graduate of Waynesville Township High School. Moses was a resident of the Dana community since 1970. A builder by trade, Moses constructed many homes in Haywood and Henderson counties during his career. After retirement he enjoyed taking pictures of church, hosting pickings in his music trailer and visiting with his friends at the mall. He attended Dana Baptist Church.
Moses was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Vena Case Robinson in 2004 and a brother, Kenneth Edward Robinson in 1947.
He is survived by a son, Terry L. Robinson; a sister, Lillian Rhudy and husband Ralph, of Richmond, Va.; nephews, Stephen Rhudy, of San Francisco, Calif., and Jonathan Rhudy and wife Michele, of Richmond, Va., and nieces, Sharyn Smith and husband Courtney, of West Orange, N.J. and Patricia Walker, of Hendersonville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Dana Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church and at other times at the home.

Terry, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I am so glad that Carolyn and I went by to see him last week. We had a nice visit with him.
