Fred led a rich productive life and touched everyone he ever came into contact with. He was my first cousin whom I met in Ft. Lauderdale in 68 along with his loving wife Paula. i remember distinctly my first impression on meeting Fred (Freddie as his father Fred Sr. affectionately called him) that he was a genuinely down-to-earth person with a ready sense of humor, who didn't stand on pomp & ceremony and had no affectation about him. Fred was the real deal. Many years separated our last meeting but my feelings for Fred are undiminished to this day. Heartfelt sorrow and admiration for all his family, David Turner

Paula and family. I only had a short time to enjoy Fred and you. He took great pleasure in teaching my grandson about woodturning. He was a very skilled craftsman and enjoyed the innovative ideas he developed while woodturning. His compassion for excellence were shown in any of his endeavors he attempted.
It is with great honor that myself and my grandson will use the lathe he made so many bowls etc. in his workshop.
We will miss Fred and his wonderful stories and the fun he had in his workshop.
Saturday at our local woodworking club I will ask our President to acknowledge Fred's membership in our community.

I am so sorry to read about your loss. Knowing how this will affect your family and friends, I hope the promise at Psalm 9:9 and 10 comforts your heart.
