In Asheville once again. 109 is still the same. Still stuff to move and tackle, but that's not a bad thing...as the memory lives on. Miss you and Mom.
I knew your father and mother, through Calavo, over the years we became good friends. Your Dad and I emailed each other quite a bit. One of the last messages I got from him, he said he was considering going back to Hawaii to live. I also knew he was having dialysis, when I stopped hearing from Charlie I didn't think to much about it. I would send him a e mail, never had it returned so I figured he was having problems or had moved. Today I could not stand it any longer, so I telephoned the assisted living place that your folks moved to and learned Charlie had passed away. Then I started searching the newspaper for his obituary. Charlie was a wonderful man, I thought the world of him and Alice. I will miss my yearly Christmas card of the 3 of you. My condolences to you, I will keep your parents In my prayers. R.I.P. my dear friend. Nina Winkler, Perry, Ga.
Still thinking of you everyday.
