The result of 35 years divided between being a Police officer
and a Magistrate, I have become disappointed with the majority of the public and thus look upon very few that I wish to call friend,

Larry Harris was my friend

A day at the Hendersonville Airport without Larry and John Delk's antics was like a day without sunshine (stole that from my mum). She was spot on. So sad to hear of Larry's way-too-soon passing. He was one of a kind. Thank you for the fond memories.

I served with Larry In Iraq. It was such a welcome distraction when we would share stories about life in Hendersonville. Larry was what we all should stive to be as law enforcement officers, a true gentleman who always had a love for the job and who never lost his kind heart.

All I can think is that God must have called out for back-up, and Larry replied, "Here am I, send me."

Stay safe my friend....

Larry and I were good friends, we broke bread together many times.
Following my retirement I moved to New Mexico and tried locating
Larry when returning to Hendersonville but to no avail.
You will be missed, there are few I call my friend.

I worked with Larry in Baghdad 2010-2011. I learned a lot from Larry. He took pride in his work and ensured the work was accurate before sending to the Investigations Unit. Larry will be deeply missed and he will be remembered for his outstanding service to our Country. May he rest in peace.
