Hendersonville-- Eunice Owens Ferguson, age 80, of Hendersonville went to be with her Lord on January 26, 2016.
Born in Hendersonville, she attended Ninth Avenue High School where she enjoyed cheerleading and playing basketball.
After retiring from Coats America, she took great joy babysitting her grandchildren, gardening and cooking for her family and friends.
Eunice is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jesse C. Ferguson, two sons, Chris Ferguson (Mary) and Kevin Ferguson (Rose); brother, Battie Owens; grandchildren, Jessica Ferguson, Candice Mays, Brian Kloman (Beth), Crystal Ferguson; and four great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:30PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Star of Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Charles E. Rowe officiating.
