JOHNSTONE. - (Galashiels) After coping with a debilitating stroke for many years, Norman passed away peacefully on Monday 4th February 2013 at the Borders General Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Iris and loving dad to Eleanor, Valerie and Neil. Much loved father-in-law of Eleanor and Ewan. An admired and adored Papa by all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral will take place at Borders Crematorium on Friday 8th February at 2 pm, to which all friends are welcome. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be made to Borders Chest, Heart and Stroke and Friends of the BGH.
