I knew Mr. Wiener since I met his daughter, Sheryl, in 1st grade. He was always quick with a smile, a joke and was always a bright light. He will be missed and dearly remembered, particularly as a devoted and loving father.

Met Abba at the Yiddish and Current Events Groups. If I spotted him- I would cross the street- to be with Abba. A really great gentleman.
We miss him.

As a lifetime friend of his daughter Sheryl, he cheered me up as a child and set a role model as a loving parent. I will never forget him, and I will always love him.

Dear Sylvia,
We just learned about the loss of Abba. We are so sorry--he was one of the most joyful people we ever knew, and he spread that joy to everyone around him. Passover was always a delight-- we got to see you both, and we were all smiles every year as soon as we saw both of you.

The Shavelson/Leopold family

What I will remember most about Abba was his great inner light that never failed to illuminate the room. He was always joyous, happy, and loving. I am sorry for your loss, and his spirit will remain alive in the souls of all who knew him.--Alex
