Alberta was a beautiful and loving person who will be deeply missed.

May she rest in peace

Amen

To the Puccia family:

Word of your Mom's passing reached me here in Florida shortly after sunrise last Friday; my long-held fear had come to pass, that the clock had timed out, and that there will be no further opportunity to share laughs and good times in this life on Earth.

I last saw her in August 2014, along with Arlene and other members of the clan during a swing up to NE; I was up there again in October of last year, and we tried to get together in person, but my limited time there and her schedule conspired against us - I am glad that we did get to have a nice phone visit just before my trip, but it will weigh as a stone upon my heart we did not see each other one last time.

The takeaway from all this is that life is fleeting and fragile ... Who could have imagined the speed with which she declined in body and left us? Yet, until the very end, her happy spirit remained undimmed and undiminished, in the vein of her father, my Uncle Al and her late husband, Al.

I will miss her terribly; I know that there is an endless pot of tripe and endless loaves of semolina bread waiting when we are all able to sit together again. Eternal rest grant to her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her; may her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of Christ, rest in eternal peace - Amen.

Love,

Chris
