LYNCH, Alice L. (Burns) Of Abington, formerly of Milton, died May 26, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 58 years to James A. Lynch. Loving mother of Kathleen Sheehan and her husband, Paul of Arlington, MaryAnn Sheehan and her husband, Matthew of Weymouth, Noreen Graham and her husband, Michael of Marshfield, James D. Lynch and his wife, Patricia of Caledonia, Michigan, Thomas Lynch and his wife, Marsha of Marshfield, and Margaret Tufts of Marshfield. Sister of Sr. Dorothy Burns of Brighton, Robert Burns of Woburn, and the late Teresa Lennon, Mary, John, Edward, Paul, and Arthur Burns. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday, 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main Street, (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare's Church, Braintree at 11 AM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court Street., Boston, MA 02108. Mrs. Lynch was one of the happiest, fun and upbeat ladies I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She will be missed so much by her family and all their friends. Rest in peace Alice.
