I have very fond memories of "Mr. Adams". Back in the early 1960's he was my Scoutmaster on hiking trips from New Hampshire to New Mexico and in-between. "The Good that men do will live after them..."

Arthur Adams and my father, Lucien R. Vianey, became friends through the Dover Scout Troop sometime in the 1940's. Arthur became an "older brother" to my brothers (Paul and Noel) and myself for the many years we continued to live in Dover until we moved from Dover in 1952. Both my father and Arthur shared similar interests: Scout Troop leadership, engineering backgrounds, and a love of the outdoors. Arthur was a totally kind, sharing, generous friend and "big brother" to all of us for many years. He will be missed BIG-time. I am so glad we were able to share time with him. I am positive that if my parents were still alive, they would - totally - echo my sentiments. Of note, my brother Noel and I were able to visit with him in Dover approximately 3 years ago....it was a visit my brother and I still recall with 'smiles on our faces'.
I am so sorry about his death. He - definitely - made a difference in this world.
