Barbara was a wonderful cousin - kind, intelligent and with a great sense of humor. We will sorely miss our visits to her lovely seaside home and the conversations we had there. Her tireless research into our ancestors is a legacy that we treasure.

We will miss having Barbara at Thanksgiving and getting to see her in Narragansett. I greatly enjoyed learning about our family's ancestry from Barbara. She was a such an intelligent and fascinating person. I'll always have fond memories of her.

Barbara was a lovely cousin, generous in hosting us younger cousins so long ago in New York, and keeping up with us over the years. More recently we enjoyed her hospitality through many visits to her charming home which in its artistry and variety expressed her personality so well. She had a great sense of humor coupled with kindness, intelligence and generosity.

Barbara was such a kind, intelligent and lively person, all her life. We were lucky to have her as a cousin. She was always a most gracious and welcoming hostess, from the days of Greenwich Village to beautiful summer visits in Narragansett. Barbara stayed forever young.
