Yesterday morning my mother in law of 27 years passed away. It has been a long, hard, exhausting battle but she is finally at peace. She almost made it to 11/1/13 (I really think she was trying) which would have been the same day Jim died only 13 years later. I am really going to miss her. She has been a mother to me since my own mother passed away in 1993. Fridays won't be the same for a long time. Every Friday I would take her shopping at Stop & Shop or take her to any doctor's appointments or take her to Balance Spa to have a Mani Pedi or just take her shopping for cat food for Bonnie. We would have Dunkin Donuts coffee and a muffin or go out for breakfast. I used to like to shock people by telling them her age (93 almost 94) because no one ever believed she was that old. She was truly a remarkable woman and I will miss her dearly. R.I.P.
