Nana,

I miss you so much already. I know I always will, but Im so glad that youre reunited with Grampy and all of your family and friends up there in heaven. If anyone in this universe deserves the best, it is absolutely you.
We were so close, and I will always hold our memories right in my heart. Youve always been an icon, a role model for me. A best friend. Thank you for teaching me to love fully, to be kind but strong, and to care deeply about others. Bright. Such a perfect word to describe you. Bright.

I will never forget practically living at your house, watching [email protected] and eating ice cream, eating endless amounts of cinnamon toast, and going to the South Shore Plaza at any given moment - honestly. Sleepovers with the cousins. Visits at Jeannies grooming center. Cookies by the fire at Christmas. Disney World. Big ticket: the time we went to the pet store and the very next day you and mom came home with puppies for us! Those memories will always always always be my favorites. Like D-man, I wish things could be that simple again.

Thank you for always being there. I love you and miss you deeply. Thanks for always letting me snuggle with you on the side of your chair, no matter how big I get. We had such a special relationship and I will always miss you.

I hope heaven is filled with the cutest kittens ever.

Love,
Erin

From afar we had only memories from our short times together with you, Aunt Carol, and of course Uncle Bill, as our portion of the Griffin family traveled hither and yon across the globe...Yet those memories were always of your beautiful, giving and caring - and care-taking! - nature. Thank you for who you were and for all you gave. Deborah Griffin

To my Dear Cousins and their families. We are so sorry you lost your loving mother, as we know she was, and fully understand what you are going through. You're sad, hurting, grieving and yet experience some relief. As time went on, mom and Auntie Barb looked more and more like twins even in their expressions and infectious smiles. She certainly was my favorite aunt because they, Mom and Dad, were always there for our parents and us kids. Please know that we wish we could be there physically on Monday but we are definitely there in mind and heart. Keeping you in our prayers always and love you all very much as we did Aunt Callie.

Nana,

Thank you for everything, I'll never forget the weekends we spent together sometimes I wish it could all be that simple again. I miss waking up early and watching the sunrise on 20 Morgan street, or going to Distinctive Grooming in Braintree to watch you take care of the animals. I even miss when I got my arm stuck in the chair and you helped me get out of it by using butter. I miss you so much, you're one of the strongest people I have ever been lucky enough to know. I'll never forget all of the things that you taught me not only from your words but through your actions. I am a better person for knowing you.

I love you always,

Derik
