Dan Fogelberg was one of the deepest and greatest writers the world has ever seen and heard. He came along at the perfect time and represented an era of the 1970's and 1980's with class and meaning. Those of us now who had the privilege of listening to his music and stories realize his true importance and what he meant to our lives. It is now 2017 and I just wanted to thank Dan for all that still brings my life. Although I am 53 years old now whenever I hear Netherlands or Leader of the Band it is as if I turn 17 again in my heart and spirit. Long Live Dan Fogelberg and what he meant to all of us back in another time and place. God Bless, Al "Pet" Petrecca. Author.
