From the moment I heard "Souvenirs" I was hooked and each LP/CD thereafter. I felt sometimes like I was an open book and he was just writing from the pages of it. Our lives were just too similar. I'm sure many felt the same and could relate. What a writer! What a singer! What a musician! He was very much like The Beatles in a way that we will never see or hear anything as phenomenal as Dan Fogelberg. God broke the mold after creating him. I was lucky to see him perform in Ann Arbor, MI. at Crisler Arena on his "The Innocent Age" tour. What a night to remember. You are gone Dan, but NEVER forgotten. What a legacy you've left behind. R.I.P. Dan.

In the early 1980's my brother came home from Europe after being there in The Air force. He listened to Dan most of the time and I took an interest as well. I loved to hear the love stories as well as the stories of the open sea. Dan became an instant reach when we or I wanted to listen to some music, LP or CD. I was 19 at the time and I still listen to his music today as a common occurrence. I am sorry for your loss, and I feel like I have lost a dear friend as well. Dan may be gone but he is for sure not forgotten. <3

I have been a fan since the beginning. I was listening to your CD on the way to work the other day. All of your songs are amazing. RIP Dan
