My condolences to Jane and Dave's family.

I primarily know Dave from our four years of banging heads on the football practice field. Our coach liked one particular play in which Dave's primary goal was to knock me on my rear end, something he often succeeded in doing. Those long practice sessions produced many memories of Dave that I will treasure forever. I wish we didn't have to go in all different directions after high school. I did see Dave at our 50th class reunion and had a great time talking and reliving those four years of football.

I will always remember our shared memories with warm feelings.

My sincere condolences to you Jane and to Dave's family.
Dave was one of the very few guys who had been my teammate from the Junior High East through Arlington High School. The bonds that are formed during the toil and sweat of the practice field and the victories and defeats of the games we played last forever. Though I hadn't seen Dave for many years, when we got together at our fiftieth high school reunion, our conversation picked up like we had just seen each the previous day. We both had a great time telling stories of our shared experiences and the lessons learned on that patch of ground behind the high school. Dave you were the toughest guy I've ever known, who mellowed with age like a fine wine. I enjoyed our phone conversations and wish I had done a better job of staying in touch. Dave, you were a teammate, a fellow class officer and most of all a friend. You will be missed.

My sincere condolences on the death of my old pal Dave. I will cherish the memories especially being the best man at my wedding 52 years ago. Rest in peace.

Wow! this was a real shock to me. Yes, I knew Dave had some serious medical issues but with his toughness I figured a win for him. This is what happens when you loose track of friends. Dave and I played football at AHS and enjoyed a great relationship over those years. You leave that setting and memories are all you have to look back on.
My condolences to you Jane and to the family.
Dave will be missed but I will remember him with the pigskin tucked under his arm and heading for that off tackle hole with me trying to clear out that D end or get run over by Dave.
Rest in peace big guy and we will all see you on the other side for a pick up game.
You will be missed my friend.
