Our sincere sympathy to the O'Malley family and all Delia's extended family - our thoughts are with you on this sad day. We have lovely memories of Delia when she visited Ireland and enjoyed seeing her and her late husband Dave.

Noreen and family,

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I fondly remember going to your house for Brownie Girl Scout meetings and learning how to knit--even though I was left handed. May her memory be eternal.

I worked with Dee in the Melrose Middle school cafeteria for several years. She was such a sweet, kind , lovely lady. She had a wonderful sense of humor...we had lots of laughs. Nice memories of a wonderful lady. My condolences to the family..

Sending our deepest sympathy to the O'Malley Family on the loss dear Dee. Dee was not only a beloved aunt and God Mother to us, but also a lovely friend, whose company we enjoyed and who was a resident fixture at all of our most memorable family celebrations over the years. She joined us at countless family Christmas parties, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, birthdays, and summer barbecues at our home in Wilmington. She loved to share updates about her family and especially all the latest news about the grandchildren and their accomplishments. Dee had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh and was one of the most sociable people you could ever meet. She also had wisdom, and often spoke of how much she valued education, and how she encouraged each and every one of her children to get an education. And each one of them did. Dee was one in a million,...loyal, loving, and totally devoted to her family. We will miss her beautiful presence in our midst and cherish our memories of her forever. May she rest in peace in Heaven now with Dave, Eileen, and all the loved ones who have gone before her.
