Our deepest sympathy for the loss of Lt. Ed Walsh. The passing of Ed was felt by so many people around the country and world.
Having so many friends that are firefighters, I felt very close to this loss.
Come to find out that my family was actually related to Ed made this feel even closer.
The showing for wake and funeral was absolutely amazing! You should be very proud!

To the entire Walsh family. there are no words to describe what is in all of our hearts. MAY you find some comfort in knowing that Heaven is a much better place now that your beloved Ed is there helping out the Lord. I know he will send you signs daily to let u know he is missing you all and thinking of how this was just not fair. Leaving his three precious children, a wife he adored and a mom is just unthinkable. As we heard from his sister, HE was doing what he loved to do.. A true Hero along with Michael Kennedy... My prayers and sadness are with you all...We lost our uncle at age 46 many years ago. I know the pain in your hearts. He left 4 little ones same age as you. Like our uncle, your Ed will never be forgotten. He is truly loved by so many and will be in our prayers always....
