Lisa was an extraordinary human being. Those of us who grew up with her on Long Island should not have been surprised by the exceptionally kind and loving person she became as an adult. She will be missed by many, and remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.

I am an old school friend of Lisa's from Green Vale. I am so saddened by this news. While I didn't see much a Lisa after we graduated, I often thought so fondly of her. Grade school can be a mean place but lisa was always quick with a smile and a friendly manner. She was a beautiful, gentle person. My condolences to the entire Fletcher Family. Sincerely, Hilary Huntington

I was Lisa's first room mate at Milton. Room mates really do get to know each other--especially the first term away from home, which is a hard one!--and I can attest that she was never less than lovely even then. I am awed to discover what she turned her life into, and saddened that we lost touch over the years. My heart goes out to her family, who must miss her terribly.--Rose Kernochan in NYC
