Not sure what to say?

I had no idea this happened. Just found out about it seven years later. My condolences to the Miranda family and everybody he knew. Bob was an exceptional influence in my life as it relates to drumming. He took the time out of his busy schedule to give me private lessons for which I am eternally grateful. Rest in peace my friend

We'd been out of touch for a very long time, just accidentally found out about Bob's passing. My heart goes out to his family and everyone who cared about him. I'll always remember his warmth and kindness, and his wonderful musicianship. Gone too soon.

Allan and Daniela did not know Bob had passed away,we are shocked to hear this very sad news ,he was a lovely. God Bless him

February 12, 2015

So sorry to learn about Bob's passing. I spent a few good years with Bob serving together in the Marine Corps Band. We were both young percussionist at the School of Music together when we first met. We ended up both being in the drum section at the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band at Cherry Point NC. He was a highly talented musician and it was an honor to have known him. I'm sorry I waited too long to try and reconnect. Perhaps we will meet again. My condolences to his family and friends.

Bob! If I could find the words to begin to describe you and the short time we spent working together, I'm not sure I could stop.

A true gentleman, the warmest of hearts and oh boy! how you made me laugh! To know you is to love you. Respected so highly as musician and friend.

I hope you will forgive me cause I have not been in touch for so long but you have and never will be out of my heart and thoughts!

Love and peace to you my friend!

Only knew Bob through my niece Amy. Know how much he was treasured by her and her family. Met him several times at concerts. Just last summer I met a piano salesperson/dealer from Cambridge who had gone to school with Bob. He spoke so highly of him. Little did we know this news was imminent. Blessings on all who loved him.

First played with Bob about 6 years ago. He was a solid player, lots of fun, very musical, and I wish I could have played with him much more. I am sad he is no longer playing on the Planet.

Rob, (Robbie) you were not only my Brother, but you were my best friend as well.
I will cherish always, our times together and your drive to always keep our family together!
Your advice, guidance and positive outlook on everything will be sorely missed.
We were taught to always, "Be Prepared". You have lived by the Boy Scout Motto, and I thought I was as well, but I could never have been prepared for your passing so soon.
You seem to have always been dealt the short hand, but somehow always made the best of everything and just moved on. I am sorry I didn't do more for you.
You will be missed more than anyone could ever know!
"Semper Fi" (Always Faithful)
Love Always, Russell

This fine man was very close to my heart. He was the kindest, most understanding, patient, non judgemental and gentle person i could ever of had the honour of calling my friend. He made me split my sides laughing and always managed to let you know he was there for you, he never lost touch and would show concern and friendship during tough times. He always carried out what he said he would, and had great concern and empathy for those he dearly treasured as i did him and will always . He told me what a good mother i was on numerous occasions, and he really meant what he said. He made me feel safe when around him, a real buddy, a genuine man a great great loss. I love you bob.
