I knew Sandy going way back to the 1060's when we were colleagues in Development at Tufts (Sandy) and
Northeastern (me). He was a fine gentleman, highly regarded and respected with a wonderful sense of humor and always a pleasure to be with. My condolences are extended to his family.

I just learned of Sandy's death. I'll miss him. He was a good friend and a very gentle man. I miss our trips through Ding Darling and our lunches at the Green Flash. We met through the DEF.

Sandy was a wonderful colleague and friend during the decade we worked together at the Davis Educational Foundation. His intelligence, wisdom, and extensive knowledge of higher education were impressive, and his lovely sense of humor made it a pleasure to be around him. He is sorely missed.

It was my great privilege and honor to have known Sandy for the last twenty plus years as his dentist and friend. I will always cherish our spirited conversations at my office over the years. I will truly miss this wonderful man! Art Buckley
