Seltzer, Dr. Gary B. 66, of Madison, WI, formerly of Newton & Medford entered eternal rest June 29, 2015. Dear son of the late Renee (Bloom) Seltzer Richmond, William Seltzer & David Richmond. Beloved father of Beth & her husband Arie Moszkowicz and Rebecca Seltzer & her husband Harry Schwartzman. Loving brother of Dr. Debra Seltzer & her husband Charles Altman. Cherished grandfather of Lily Moszkowicz. Adored uncle of Jonathan Altman. He was a Professor at Univ of WI – Madison for 15 years & prior to that at Boston Univ. & Brown Univ. In addition to completing research at Harvard Univ., Gary co-founded Lincoln Hill Camp for children with special needs and authored many publications. Services at the Beth Israel #1 Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, on Friday at 11:00 AM. Following the interment, Shiva at the home of Mark & Joyce Leavitt. Gary was one of the first people who encouraged my work with people with disabilities. I will never forget his awesomeness. Thank you Gary I am still at it today, Mary Anne Billings

Debra and Family,
Our heartfelt condolences. I am so saddened by Gary's passing. Although it's been way too long since we've all seen each other, the family ties and bonds of childhood hold us to a special connection. My apologies for not being able to be with you. May Gary's memory be for a blessing.
