Angela, I am so sorry to hear of this. I had no idea. My prayers go out to you and your family. I would never have made it to the West coast without him.

Just found out when I was going to wish you the best year yet.... and then I realized you hadn't picked up my Thanksgiving or Christmas messages and I googled thinking I was overreacting. I'm shocked and saddened. So kind and brilliant. I miss you! Prayers for all you loved and who loved you.

There are no words that I can think of that feel right. The days I spent with Gavin and his family were always so much fun. Gavin and I always had the most fun at his moms swimming with the family. Dinner at his dads was always very enjoyable too. To know Gavin was to know his whole family, and what wonderful people you are.
Tie dying t-shirts, decorating ugly sweater cookies, decorating cupcakes, playing with his niece. These were the times I saw him really light up.
On the morning of the 23rd I happened to see a rainbow in a clear sky. I know he was interested in colors and prisms, what they meant. I took a picture of the rainbow just thinking it was an unusual pretty occurance. I didn't hear the news until after the 30th. I thought of the rainbow and I hope that was a sign that he is at peace.
My heart aches for your family. Every day. I hope you are all finding signs that help you through this time. He loved you all so much. You're the best family he could've asked for.
I'm sending so much love to you all.
Erin
