I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. He was the best professor I had in my higher education experience. -Joe Colella

George was a powerful influence during his tenure as Director in Waterloo, Ontario. As one of the persons whom he hired, I will always appreciate the opportunit he afforded an outsider to assume an administrative position. His vision for education was expansive and those who worked with him were energized by his enthusuasm for creating a more inclusive community.

Kim and I send our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. George is missed daily by many in his NRT family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of George's passing. He was my professor and mentor at Cambridge College where his passion for inclusion was infectious. I left every interaction with him feeling hopeful, inspired, and excited about what could be. I have no doubt that he inspired and touched the lives of countless students, teachers, and parents through his work. He will be missed.
