Kibby,
I am so very sorry for your loss. George was my manager at Course Technology back in the mid 90's. Best manager I ever had......smart, generous with his wisdom, and fun to work with. He truly was one of a kind who will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you, Kibby.
God bless and RIP George.

Kibby,
I have to add one more memory of my dear friend. I have known George since the 1st grade. In all the years that I have know him, I had never seen him so happy as that day when you two were married. He was a kid that day. Laughing. Joyful. Full of stuff that everyone of us wants to be full of. You gave him that. And because he was my friend, I thank you for that. And I know I will see him again.

Kibby,
My daughter, Bethany, just informed my wife and I of George's passing. I am so sorry. I am so sorry that we never reconnected after you two moved out of Waltham. I still remember my last visit to you two there. How you both greeted me with open arms and that smile on Georges face when I showed up, unexpectedly at your front door. He was instrumental in my wife and I being able to adopt our daughter, Bethany from Korea. His letter to Wide Horizons sealed the deal and for that, we are forever grateful. Because of him, Bethany came into our lives and we were never the same after that. My brothers and I still remember hearing George's voice from the back of Wonderland Dog Track, saying, "I got it"....he would always win while my brother's would grumble, "who is that guy". Great memories of growing up with, my old friend. I am sure God welcomed George home with "Welcome home, good and faithful servant".....Love, Maria nd Bill DuFresne

Kibby, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew George from our days (MANY years ago) at Coopers & Lybrand in Boston. He was such a smart man, also very thoughtful and kind. I know you will miss him greatly.
