To the Steinbrenner Family:

I as a Yankee fan since I was 5 years old will never forget the things that Mr. Steinbrenner did to not only make the Yankees a better team but to make all of us proud to be fans of the Yankees. The team was always important to him and at the same time the fans were just the same and I remember him saying that the Yankees were always willing to go the extra mile for their fans when he brougth A-Rod to the Bronx.

You will be missed by everyone whose lives you have touched and your memory will always be cherished by the fans of your beloved Yankees...

Sleep well George.
