QUIMBY, Glenn Of Dunstable, MA, died unexpectedly on September 9th, 2013. Born on August 23, 1956 in Brockton, MA, a son of Gerald G. Quimby of Ft. Myers, FL and the late Gabrielle M. (Martin) Quimby. Beloved husband of Deborah Debbie (Swistak) Quimby of Dunstable. They shared over 15 years of marriage. Mr. Quimby was the owner and operator of GQ Enterprises. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed Formula 1 Racing, cycling, fishing, water skiing and snow skiing, and is a member of the Waterville Valley Black and Blue Trailsmashers Ski Club and the Burke Mountain Ski Club. He held membership in the United States Ski and Snowboard Association. Mr. Quimby enjoyed traveling with his family. He enjoyed attending Oktoberfest in Germany and driving the Autobahn. Mr. Quimby was a graduate of Northeastern University. Devoted father of his son, Garrett Martin Quimby and his daughter, Gabrielle Gigi Quimby, both of Dunstable, MA; also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Jeff Reed of E. Longmeadow, MA; a niece, nephews, grand nieces and a grand nephew; and many, many, many wonderful friends. He will be sadly missed by all of his family, relatives and friends. Services: Visiting hours: Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., NASHUA on Thursday (today) afternoon and evening from 2 -4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral Mass: Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E. Dunstable Rd., Nashua on Saturday, September 14, 2013 afternoon at 1:00 PM. Friends are invited to attend and asked to gather at the church. Interment prayers and burial will be private. Dear Debbi, I never had the pleasure to meet you but I was sorry to hear of your loss. Glenn and I shared an apartment for several years while we attended Northeastern University. I will never forget the those wonderful college days or Glenn. We enjoyed many laughs and fun times in Boston. May you and your family find the strength you need during this sad time.
