I am sorry to hear of the passing of Dr Mahoney. I had the chance to met him again at MGH. I WAS HIS NURSE and he my patient. I was a patient of his when I was a kid - he was a childhood friend of my deceased mother Betty MacDonald Mahan. He spoke highly of his children and how proud he was of all of you. I'm glad that I was able to meet him again after so many years ... I'm sure my mother and all their deceased friends from Neponset were there to greet him in heaven!
