Have so many wonderful memories of the Brennan family with Mr Brennan at the helm. He was always smiling, encouraging and was a great listener. You were often there when one of us needed a ride to the ER, mom didn't have a license and dad was working. You were very special to the Lescarbeau family. We will always treasure your friendship and will always love you. Say HI to my dad!
Dear Ruth & Family, A great loss to Westwood, a truly wonderful man and dedicated to his country and to the USMC. We share your loss, God Bless you Ruth and your family. Harry & Pat Aaron, Westwood, Ma. Semper Fi, George
Deepest sympathy to the Brennan family. I remember him from my student days at Baystate in 1966 and 1967. May he rest in peace..
Mr Brennan was a very special person and I have only fond memories of him. Perhaps my best memory is of when i broke my wrist when I was eight. I was in agony and I distinctly remember Mr Brennan carrying me down the stairs from our house to our car and looking up at his smile and him saying "Stevie, it will be fine. We'll take care of you". The words were more comforting than I can express. We should all aspire to emulate Mr Brennan. The world lost a great man but heaven is wealthier.
Mr Brennan was a very special person and a special friend to the Lescarbeau's. While I have many memories of him, allow me to share two. We used to play football on Mendum street and the cars alined either side of the street. frequently, the ball would escape our grasp and sail into the cars with a thump. Needless to say, neighbors complained but not Mr Brennan! He was only encouraging. I have one memory however that I'll remember always. When I was eight I broke my wrist in our backyard. I was in great pain and Mr Brennan carried me down the stairs (45?) to our car and accompanied my mom and me to the hospital. Mr Brennan was truly an inspirational and one to aspire to mimic.
He was a wonderful father who befriended my parents and welcomed our brother as one of his own. Loved his optimism for life. Condolences to the whole family. Truly a loss and the end of an era! Annette Poulin Radzevich and the entire Poulin clan.
My brother Ed Sullivan, often spoke of George and what a remarkable man he was. I very well remember Ruthie Connington. She was one of the prettiest girls in Jamaica Plain and also one of the nicest. My deepest sympathy to her and her large and proud family.
Sorry for your loss. Im a member or Walpole County Club and did not know your Dad well but am here indirectly as a result from his amazing bravery and service in WWII . My Dad fought 5 years in the South Pacific and know this was the greatest generation. Just loved reading his service to America and also how huge his family is.. Cheers to George ! Thanks Brian Cecca & Family Walpole MA
