Hello Don,
Although I was unfortunate in not meeting your Dad, your portrayals and anecdotes always left me feeling as though I did know him. The many remembrances in this guest book, certainly reinforce your obvious respect and love for him, and him for you. He left a great legacy in you. It certainly seems the relationship was healthy and happy. No one can ask for more than what you were able to experience.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wanted to share a scripture with you that hopefully is comforting. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.i The former things have passed away.”

Dear Bunny and Family,
We have been good friends for over 40 years. I will not forget the kindness and caring Harold showed my husband. Nor will I ever forget the sweet, soft spoken wonderful man my family and I love and respect. I never heard him speak badly of anyone. He loved his family. He loved life and lived it with honor. I pray that Harold and my husband continue their great friendship in Heaven.

We were saddened to hear of Harold's passing.
He was a true gentlemen and made the world a better place. I am proud to have had him as a friend and a Pythian brother. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend the funeral service as we are in Florida.

Harold was a truly wonderful man who will be greatly missed. I can still hear him saying "How ya doing sweetheart?" whenever he would see me. He (Bunny too) was such a wonderful life long friend to both of my parents. I will never forget that he visited my father every single week for the over two years he was in a nursing home. Every week. He never forgot my Dad. He would also often ask me when he was finally going to go to my wedding. I'm sorry I never had an answer for him! Menschs like him are hard to find.

My deepest sympathy to the whole family.

Dear Bunny, Donald, Michele and Lanie,
Your father was one of the finest men I have every known, no wonder that my parents adored him so. Harold, he was such a kind man who was so dedicated to his wife, children and gosh he loved all the "kids". Our family knew Harold to be the most dedicated friend to my parents. My father and Harold well their was such a devotion between the two of them and of course great love. My dad and his dearest friend will be together once more....

Dear Michele and family, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear father Harold. I know he had been very ill and you spent much time being with him during this difficult period. I lost my Dad just before Christmas, so I know the extra sadness of such a loss during a special holiday time. May he rest in peace for eternity.
