I am so glad to have meet Alma's brother, he is the last of Greatest Generation, RIP, Uncle Lew.
I will truly miss one of the kindest most considerate men I have ever known. A quiet hero, another of that greatest generation, who endured incredible hardships, exhibited unbelievable valor, then came home and just got on with life. But more than that, he was a great and loving uncle. He and Jenny took all of us under their wings as if we were their own. What would a 4th of July have been without fireworks at Wakefield? We can all hope that we live our lives with the same vitality, sense of adventure, genuineness and dignity that defined his life right up to the very last day
I will miss him.
So glad to have known Llewellyn these last few years...finding a relationship I didn't know I had...I especially enjoyed his stories and chatting and loved his independence and loving life. So glad to have been a part of his life if only for a short time.
