So sorry to hear that Lou had passed away during the summer. I attended a school business manager's meeting today and someone mentioned that Lou had passed. We've lost a great person and friend to a lot of school departments. Last time I saw Lou he was at the Annual MASBO meeting on the cape and he talked so proudly about his daughter Rachel. I still can"t believe i won't see Lou at the Annual MASBO conference in Brewster. He will be sadly missed
Words cannot express the sadness of this loss. You and your family are in our prayers.
I met Lou at UNH, we were floormates. We had a lot of good times, good memories of floor parties at the beach on Odiorne Point. Even when we were at our zaniest, Lou was a class act - he steered me clear of trouble more than once. My deepest sympathies to his family. - Dave
Robin and Rachel,
Sending you prayers, love and hugs - Lou was a great guy and I am honored to have known him....xoxo Melissa (Spicuzza)
I worked with Lou for a short time at One Stop Business Centers. Even though we only knew each other for a short while, Lou made you feel as though you knew him forever. We shared many laughs. He truly loved his wife and daughter...and of course his maltese Manley. This is a sad day as his laugh is silenced. May he rest in peace.
I only knew Lou through work and only this past year. He was such a nice guy and so helpful. May knowing he is resting in God's arms comfort you and your family.
God bless you,
So sorry for your unexpected loss.
Sorry to hear of Lou's passing my deepest condolences to your family, I grew up with Louie and still remember the fun times we had in the old neighborhood.
Robin & Rachel - Karyn wanted to let you and your family know that you're in our prayers. She attended the celebration of Lou's life today and she said she's never seen such an outpouring of love. We went to school with Yvonne. Wishing you and your family peace - Love, Karyn & Kelly McCarthy Class of 1979
Robin, Rachel, Chuck, and family I am heartbroken for you all. Sending my love and hugs.
To Lou's family, I knew Lou for about 8 years. We didn't see each other much but I considered him a close friend. He was the nicest person I ever met. I've never laughed and smiled as much as I did when I was with him. I'm sorry for your loss. He was a great man.
Brenda & Robin, Kirsten & I are still in shock over the loss of Lou. He was such a terrific man and someone I was proud to call a friend. If he wasn't talking about family he was figuring a way to go fishing. Our deepest condolences.
Louie, you will forever be in the hearts of those who knew you & loved you.
Robin and Rachel, we're so sorry. Our hearts are breaking for you both. Sending hugs your way, Kristin, Nick and Gabby
Brenda, Yvonne & family, I am so sorry for your loss. I haven't seen Louie in years but I remember all the fun we had growing up together in the Pines. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.
At RPB we jokingly nicknamed Lou "Buzz Lightyear". Like Buzz, Lou was almost to good to be true. He had the super hero jawline and broad shoulders. He was tall and handsome and he had a smile that could wipe away your worst day in a flash. Like Buzz, Lou always saw the best in people. He seemed to be on a mission to make the world around him a happier place. We weren't laughing at you when we called you Buzz. It was our way of showing how much we admired you. I'm going to miss our long conversations, your insight and your compassion. You set me on a completely different course more than once after I had talked with you. More than anything, I'm going to miss your smile and deep barrel-chested laugh. You even laughed at yourself every time you accidentally dumped your coffee cup on your laptop. Which was a fairly frequent occurence. I guess it's all in the way you look at things. Or, as Buzz would say,
"This isn't flying, it's falling with style!"
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Lou at RPB. I had just spoken with him a few weeks ago. He was such a gentle gentleman.
Robin and Rachel,
We are so shocked and saddened for your sudden loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
