I was a patient of Dr. Sapienza in my 20s and 30s. He was an excellent doctor and a very kind man.

My dearest Uncle Peter, I regret not connecting with you more often in this life . Your quiet charm and deep wit , like my father's (your younger brother Louis) were sometimes lost on me as a child, and only now in memories do I fully appreciate your depth and grace. I still have the first camera that I ever owned , a Kodak Instamatic , a gift from you because of my fascination (and yes pestering questions) about your photography . You and Marie always graciously hosted our noisy division of the Sapienza clan putting up with light switches being repeatedly turned on and off , screaming and running and all other manner of childhood madness ! You were my fathers hero and idol and best friend , and in my mind I can see you two approaching each other in Heaven as you did on Earth ..."Luigi !!!"..."Pietro !!!"And a big hug to follow. God bless you , Love, Larry
