To our Uncle Bob:
What we have learned from you over so many years, thankfully, we still remember most today and hopefully will never forget the rest. Just some of experiences we remember: fly your colors (flags) properly, a firm hand shake, blue fishing on the weekends, weeding the garden, the value of a good pair of khakis, a properly broken in cap, listening to the games on the radio (and Irish music) as you work, a good T-shirt with a top pocket in it, the value of friends and family, and we can't forget….ALWAYS have a flashlight handy!
Truly there are countless memories and stories with Robert, Bob, Uncle Bob and yes, “Killer Kelley” that all we have. All are truly great memories.
We remember 4th of July firework solutes on Baker Road, the Easter egg hunts, Uncle Bob's infamous “chair”, the Thanksgiving's with the electric carver, Christmas's and New Year's Westboro, stories from his time with PBY's, the Cape rule about flushing (enough said!), the “boat”, the sodas that were always available in the garage (…Shasta, I think), and always knowing that during the summer time, that our Uncle Bob was just a short dirt-path away, if ever you needed him. Thank you for being you.
You will always be missed and loved by your nephews.
Rest now, be at peace.
Lovingly, John, Mark, Matt, Luke & David Yuskaitis
May the love of God shelter your family during your time of grief. May God be your fortress and bring comfort and courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to hold in your hearts. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Psalms 37:39
My thoughts and prayers are very much with you all during this difficult time.
We often observed Bob walking past our house. He routinely stopped at the fence bordering the beach, rested and gazed out at his beloved Lewis Bay.
Passing from this life, Bob will continue his walking and gazing during his heavenly rest.
I am so sorry for your loss . My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
So sorry for the family's loss. Bob had a "bigger than life" personality and will be missed.
