I am deeply saddened to hear of Ted's passing. He was a huge part of my life for 40 years. He was a substitute Dad for me, and grandfather to my children as well as a long time partner with my mother. We had many projects together, building, fixing, etc. He taught me so much. He became my math tutor while brushing up for a nursing exam. I had not seen him since I moved to Florida, but I will remember him with love forever.

My deepest sympathies to Paul, Peter, Mark and Susan and their children. He was a special man.

His service in WWII was such a huge commitment and gift to this country. I am glad your family had him for so many years.

Our sincerest condolences to the Zagaeski family. Never had the privilege of knowing Teddy, but felt like we knew him a little bit through the wonderful stories and photos that Paul would post on Facebook. Seemed like a wonderful human begin who lived a very full and rich life - clearly with people who loved him dearly. What more can we all hope for?
