The Town of Arlington has lost an icon the day
we lost you, Bill. Thank you for all you have
done from the kindness of your generous heart
for so many of us.
You were a class act all the way. Gods Speed.
To Bill's Family, We were very sorry to hear that he passed away. Bill was one of those people that you thought would live forever. We shared many wonderful times with him and our memories of him will stay with us forever.
Bill will be missed by so many, but certainly he will not be forgotten.
Remember, as long as Bill is in your memories, he will always be with you.
Bill, you and Chester instilled in me the values of not only being a good EMT but also taking pride in what we did and how we looked. You were the leader in making the industry what it is today, you will be missed by many and I'm sure you and Chester are already hanging out.

My mom, Eileen, and he shared many stories and I am sure she, along with many of his friends that have gone before him, met him with great joy. My thoughts are with you during this most sad time. Love and hugs...
Mr Armstrong you set the standard for the industry for what the ambulance and it's crew members about our appearance. No other service met your requirements. We took pride in how we looked. We were the cream of the crop. On a more personal note I met you shortly after my father passed. When in Arlington quarters I used to spend a lot of time talking to you about everything from A to Z, not much of it was about work. I missed my dad so much and well you kind of filled the void. You were good at what you provided, there are a lot of people that will miss you. Rest in peace and God Bless
