Seven years went so fast. I really enjoyed your mom at Johnny's D's when we were young. She was beautiful and inspiring, always made everyone smile. God bless her and all your family will send a prayer to heaven for her.

Dear Carla,

It was June 29, 2015, when I first learned that your mom has passed away. Since then I have been very sad and even mad at the cruelty of fate where a great woman like Tina with an unparalleled beauty and grace leaves this world so soon. It is just not right!
From humble beginnings, as you wrote in her rememberance, to a pillar of the community, your mom lived the American dream to the fullest; an accomplished businesswoman who revelutionized the music seen at night clubs in greater Boston and beyond...a great mom...and above all a kind person who respected and appreciated people regardless of where they come from or what their status in life is. An amazing woman indeed.
Although I have not been to Johnny D,s in fifteen years, the memories are still as wonderful as ever. You, David and Tina were all kind and generous to me, and I will forever appreciate that.
I never wrote a poem before, but given how inspiring Tina was, the following words came upon me as a tribute to her memory:

Tina The Great is gone but her legacy lives on.
Her beauty and grace no one can erase.
She was smart with a big heart.
Her legacy has reached a new height,
because Carla is so bright.
If you got friends that you want to please,
just have them listen to the music at Johnny D,s.
We all deem that Tina lived the American dream.
And, now, as she is in a better place, she will always be the pretties face.

Stay inspired... and may God continue to bless Tina'soul.

It is safe to say that Tina was one of the Prettiest women in history. She will be greatly missed. Zak
