I will always remember Philip...he was very helpful in my rise in the AGS. He is one of the few I mentioned in my book, The Chatham Legacy.

An amazingly kind and generous man. I worked for Phil while in high school. He taught me things that have served me well and gave me memories that will last a lifetime. As passionate as Phil was about his profession, he was more passionate about being a wonderful human being , and he was truly that. Thank you Phil, for being you.

Phil's big heart held a multitude. Phil loved humor, and today I hear him singing the punchline, "someone chanted morning." In the rising of the sun, and in its going down, we remember you.

It was always the highlight of AGS Conclave when we saw Phil and Fran's big smiles and then hugging us like we were their own family. Phil and Fran were our Mentors during our first AGS Conclave. They are both very special people, wonderful jewelers and had the respect of everyone that ever knew them. I can't imagine one without the other and we offer our prayers for both of them. They have always represented the best of our industry to me and Marilyn. Our hearts go out to Fran and the Minsky family and all of their friends. God Bless you.

Please accept my sincere condolences on Phil's passing. Phil was the consummate gentleman who always put the good of the jewelry industry before his own personal gain. He was a first class gentleman and will be missed by many.

Phil was always so kind and caring. We did more shopping in his store, he always had such beautiful things. I have everything I ever bought there, from pictures, crystal and jewelry. I have great memories of him. He was such a loving person and he was always smiling and happy to see anyone who walked in the store. I'm glad someone posted this on Facebook. Rest in peace my friend. A friend to all. A leader with great compassion and the highest ethics; a mentor; a great "bud". Remembering Phil will always bring a smile to my face. He will be missed.
