Dr. Curtis (Joe) taught me cell biology and electron microscopy at Clark University in the 60's. While all of my teachers made an impression on me, Joe was one of those who demanded the most and got the most. He left a wonderful legacy of excellence for those who followed. I send my sincere thanks for his life and condolences for his family.
