Our dear friend. What a sad, sad time. Guy was a wonderful man and we were blessed to have known him. May your memories help you through this sorrow. We send our love, thoughts and prayers.

Guy was a gentleman and a scholar. Together with his loyal and compassionate partner, Gilberto, they spent the winter months here in Florida where, on their morning walks we would stop and chat. When Guy could no longer walk, Gilberto continued their routine. Again he'd stop so that I and others could communicate with Guy. And then when that was no longer possible I would take Guy's hand, just to tell him I knew how difficult life had become for him. With Gilberto at his side he lived a good life - and Gilberto, no one could wish for or
deserve a better partner than you. I am sorry for your loss Gilberto, because of you Guy will be remembered because you never allowed him to loose contact with the world around him.

Dearest Gilberto, Please accept my deep and sincere condolence on the loss of your life partner and closest companion. Words cannot fill the emptiness of your heart at this time, but you must be comforted by the fact that Guy is at rest and freed from the burden of his illness. I have known you both for a long time and in the Jewish tradition at the time of the loss of your loved one, I wish you Long Life. With deepest sympathy and love,MaryAnn Amato
