Mike was my French teacher and coach at Middlesex for 6 years. He was a sturdy, tough school master, but with a good and kind heart. I know he is now reunited with his brother who fell in Italy during World War Two.

Henry and family, i have often thought of your Dad over time and just saw that he passed away last year, my thoughts and prayers are with you. he was such a caring and humble man-always having a kind word for all he met.I am returning to Castine on 5/29 to bury my Dad and I want you to know my heart is with you. I am Emile Henri Erhard's granddaughter, so Henry must have been Uncle Henry's son (uncle to my deceased father, George Charles Erhard). I happened upon this while researching the Alker, Bobet, Erhard connection...I never met Henry, but it sounds as though he was loved by all. My love to the family.

It was with great interest that we read here about Mike's wonderful and full life. We didn't meet Mike until my mother, June Duston, moved into The Harbor View Cottage. We quickly became fond of Mike, he was always such a gentleman. He loved a kiss and a hug. His eyes would light up with a quick smile. He was such a sweet man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
