My deepest condolences to your family; I am one person that was touched by Mr. Besecker. I grew up in Columbia Point Project, and spent many summer vacations at Farrington Memorial Family Camp in Lexington, Ma., where your dad/grandfather was the administrator. Those days were the most rewarding and life changing for me. I felt so free there, and it was a world that I never knew living in the project. I was one of ten children and we all loved Mr. Besecker. He was always available for whatever we wanted or needed. He gladly pushed all the children on the swings every day, without hesitation. I know it sounds like such a small and simple gesture, but he was truly a man devoted to people in need. I am so sorry for your loss; Mr. Besecker will undoubtedly be missed by so many that his love and life touched. Thank you all for sharing your father/husband/grand father/ and friend with us that really had nothing. He truly made a difference in my family's lives, and I hope you all know how special your dad was to those he touched. Thank you for allowing me to share in your loss, and also in your joy in remembering Mr. Besecker. Reeniejl@yahoo.com Irene (Gardikis) Larkin..I want to end with the fact that your mom was an incredible woman. As an inner city young girl,I looked up to her, and saw what a strong woman was. Thank you all for sharing your parents with us; we are so grateful, and share in your deep loss.

Dear Besecker Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved father, and grand-father. Your Mom and Dad were influential in my childhood in Lexington just because of the kind of people they were and the way they lived their lives. Your Dad was interested in what others were doing and what a zest for life! Certainly your folks and mine had some great times together in the GoGoGoGo (4Gs) Group. I am saddened by his passing but I trust he is happy to be reunited with Isabel and will have a special place in heaven!

In deepest sympathy,
Charlene Hyde Matheny
