My sincere condolences to the Hurley family. I taught at Boston Tech with Jim, and our classrooms were next to each other in the O'Bryant building. Jim and I shared common backgrounds of Dorchester and BC.He will be sorely missed by those who knew him at Tech.He was one of the good guys.

For all the teachers who worked with Jim at
Boston Tech and the O'bryant, let me express our condolences to his family and our sadness at his passing. Jim was a wonderful teacher and a wonderful colleague.

For all the Hurley family;
Uncle Jimmy was a wonderful man. I had the fortunate experience to be his student. I wasn't such a good student but he was a wonderful teacher.
Through the years we enjoyed joking about our shared appreciation for Boston Technical High School.
All the Hurley family members, without exception, were extraordinary life time learners and positive role models by example. God Bless Uncle Jim, Rest in Peace
